Cabin in the woods
The beauty of design lies in nuances — the many seemingly tiny details that make all the difference. The quintessence of this relaxing cabin in the woods lies in the use of wood sourced from the local forest, unusual lighting and unique finishing touches, such as the pearlescent switches.
Formerly a tennis house, the cabin was reinvented as a hideaway in a private domain in Antwerp. By integrating organic shapes and such natural elements as wood, stone, and natural paint into the design, the cabin serves as an anchor where one can immerse oneself in nature, disconnected from life’s constant rat-race. The dimmed lights create an ideal atmosphere to complement the sense of serenity.
